People also have the false conception that Workshop will some how keep mods from jacking your game up which is false you can make a mistake with Workshop just the same. Well at one point I had none and so did all of the other PC gamers that where arond before Wrokshop and I learned how do it more than one diffrent way if I can so can you.Dont realy soley on one program to do thigns for you it is merely a weakness.Particulary when the other methods of modding are just as easy as Workshop. I see alot of people asking this lately I must assume that there has been a flocking of players to PC for games like Fallout beause of the high level of modabilty and custimzation of the games yet they have no experiance with adding the mods. Modding using other methods is really very easy NMM dose the same and more than Workshop and adding mods by manaully palcing the files in yourself in very easy really.It is not that complex really i can think of many thigns that are much harder. People will buy FO3 and FONV even without Workshop support so there is no real reason add it in the game still sell well as it is why spend more money on them when they already are bringing in money.įurthermore all the old Bethsda games already have strong support from other mod installation programs so there is no true need and even with Skyrim only about half of players use Workshop as it is many do not use it at all. Killing Floor and any other game that has Workshop is still actively supported by its developer.The age of the game is not relvant if the game is still actively supported is what matters. Becuase Bethsda does not actively support Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas anymore a game has to be actively supported by its publisher/developer so that they can patch in Workshop support this also of course costs money becuase the must have someone make the patch and test it.
